Why is it that mathematics strikes fear in the heart of so many people?  Not everyone, of course - but many, many people are intimidated by the subject.

This is just one of the many, many topics that this web site and blog will discuss in the coming days and months.

It’s almost time for the new school-year to begin.  “Back to School” time!  Buy your paper, pencils, and books and off you go.

Tomorrow let’s talk about math in particular - why does this subject seem to upset so many people?
